Google announced the launch of a fully evolved version of the “Vibe Coding” feature within the Google AI Studio platform. This feature allows users, regardless of their programming background, to transform ideas into ready-to-use applications using only text commands, eliminating the need for manual source code writing.

The functionality relies on the Gemini 3.1 Pro model, which automatically executes technical aspects based on user descriptions. Apps can be created directly within the browser, with support for advanced functions including electronic payments, data storage, and messaging systems.

The update expands the platform’s capabilities to include the development of complex applications such as multiplayer games, collaborative workspaces, and shared tools. Google also introduced a new software agent named Antigravity Agent. This agent automatically detects application needs, such as databases or login systems, and creates them by integrating directly with the Firebase service.

The system enables the setup of services like Cloud Firestore for data storage and Firebase Authentication for secure login, while also supporting the connection of external services like payment systems or Google Maps via API keys. The platform supports the automatic installation of development tools and web development libraries based on project requirements, including modern frameworks such as React, Angular, and Next.js.

Users can save their progress and resume work on different devices without losing data. Google aims to accelerate the transition from concept to production, enabling users to build AI-generated applications without leaving their working environment. This step reflects the increasing competition in AI-powered software development tools and is expected to lower barriers to application development, expanding the base of users capable of building integrated digital products without advanced programming expertise.
