واتساب تطلق تحديثًا جديدًا لـ CarPlay.. واجهة جديدة تقلّل الاعتماد على “سيري”

Meta launched a new update for WhatsApp on CarPlay, introducing a native interface designed to improve the user experience compared to the previous version, which relied primarily on Siri voice commands. This update allows users to access a comprehensive interface within the vehicle, featuring contact information, a dedicated favorites section for quick access to frequent contacts, as well as recent chats and call logs, effectively bringing the in-car experience closer to the mobile app version.

The new release also adds shortcut buttons that enable sending messages via voice or making calls directly, without the need to rely entirely on voice commands, addressing a major limitation of the previous version. Users can access these new features by updating the WhatsApp application on iOS and connecting the phone to a compatible CarPlay system. This update comes within the context of the expansion of interactive services in vehicles, as OpenAI recently made voice chat mode available for ChatGPT via CarPlay, and Google introduced a new update for Google Meet to allow meetings to be conducted directly through the system while driving.
